If you know me, you know I love sharing products with gorgeous packaging.
I mean, my personal Instagram @mdsnmdsnmdsn is basically a Glossier shrine. I was actually just thinking about this today while looking through an aisle of candles. There I was, surrounded on both sides by a vast array of shapes, sizes, and smells of candles. Some vessels were clear, revealing an ethereally tacky glitter-filled vanilla wax. Others were matte black and opaque - mysterious. Each calls to a different shopper. A different personality. To me, that is the beauty of packaging design.
Anyhow, I picked up this particular piece at Walmart (where all worthwhile stories begin). Copper Cow Coffee is pour-over Vietnamese coffee kit. I loved the simplicity of the packaging - very sleek, but bold. Isn’t the little cow just adorable?
What I truly appreciate is how well the brand and design is tied throughout the whole kit, from the box to the coffee and cream packages inside. It’s really made into an experience. So much so that ended up sharing the whole “unboxing” series on my IG story. No shame. Not to mention the fact that they’re women owned and sustainably sourced! Makes that coffee just a little bit sweeter.
The coffee itself was good too! The sugar and cream can be a little sweet, but that’s easy enough to manage by just pouring less in. They also have a Thai tea set which I’m dying to try - I haven’t had a Thai tea since we left Seattle and I’m beginning to forget what they taste like, which is the real tragedy of this story.
Next time you head to Wally world, stop by the Asian food section and try some Copper Cow Coffee!
